FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Registration ?
Like most things we sign up for we need to give some basic information so if you click on the email button it will lead you to your email with address and subject completed. If you can just put your name, address, phone number and badge club member and number that would be great. I will send you a bidder number which can be used on any emails to me for this or future auctions.

No Bid Form ?
Thatís right we have found there have been a number of people who have sent a completed form that has either not arrived or arrived totally blank so we have provided a link to your email.We are pursuing an alternative bid form.

What are the conditions ?
a list of rules to ensure everybody is treated the same way and they can be viewed by clicking on the conditions button.

What are the Bid Increments ?
They are a standardized list of values set on a sliding scale of value and they can be viewed by clicking the bid increment button .

What are the codes used ?
There are 2 different codes used the first is the International Badge Club code to identify each badge and a variety code is used when provided by the vendor.The second code covers condition and type of manufacture and can be viewed in Abbreviations.

Can I ask questions about any of the items ?
If you need clarification on size or description in fact anything to do with the auction please contact by e-mail.

How big is the badge ?
All measurements given are in MILLIMETERS (mm) ie 75x45 & circular badges are shown as the diameter of the badge ie 65. Bound and embroidered badges - given as width x height. Ribbon badges - given as ribbon width x height of design.

Images lack detail ?
Badges are scanned at 100 dpi and full size however image size will vary with the type of equipment etc that you may be using. When viewing badge scans please note that they are compressed into a smaller area than the actual scanned size and some detail is lost usually with the larger and multiple items lots. Double click on badge this will open a new window with badge shown at actual size and better detail.

How do I pay for my items ?
Payments from Australia can be by cheque, Money order, direct deposit or cash.
Payment from outside of Australia MUST BE by International Cheque in AU$'s drawn on an Australian Bank made out to L.Weston. OR by PAYPAL however an additional 6% is required to cover their fee's or pay thru family & friend you pay feeís of 1%.
Payments from the UK can be by Paypal or direct deposit into my UK bank account (no feeís).

Your lots will be posted after your payment has cleared.

Postage ?
Postage of lots outside of Australia is by Australia Post Airmail, an optional service is Australia Post International Registered mail (additional cost). It should be noted that this service is not insurable. If you want insurance that will cost $7.50 for the 1st $100 and an additional $2 for every $100 after plus postage cost.

Your lots will be posted after your payment has cleared.

Print List ?
The Print List will provide you with a file of all the auction lots which is suitable for printing (.rtf format) this will take a while to download.

Images Only ?
Images Only will provide a file to print all lots at a reduced size with 25 per page, remember to set your margins as small as possible to minimize the amount of pages and depending on height of scan images may be moved to the next page.
